- Responsible for the placement and promotion of all editorial content on the newspaper’s website, which received more than 9 million pageviews per month

- Edit and publish all early shift news content, which includes writing local breaking news as needed

- As the digital project leader for our 15-strong online team, I oversaw all web- and social-only content from conception to implementation

- Monitor daily, weekly and monthly analytics/metrics for the website and all social media accounts and report to newsroom partners about areas of growth and updates on meeting targets (by section and as a whole)

- Control social media accounts for The National (Twitter, Facebook, Google Plus, Instagram) and associated company campaigns and corporate partnerships, growing the brand’s social presence by more than 600% in two years

- Lead office-wide trainings on digital best practices with modules on SEO and increasing social engagement, user experience design and mobile-first strategy
