WORK IN ULTIMATE
Throughout my career, I have worked part-time in the sports and youth programming field — first as an after-school program coordinator at the YMCA outside Boston and later as a coach and media coordinator for Ultimate programs in Dubai. In 2019, I left journalism full-time to work in Ultimate before returning to the field in 2021. Here are the projects where I focused most of my time.
GURLS
Year 1 Facilitator and Curriculum Developer
The Gender Ultimate Revolution Leadership Series is a tuition-free leadership program for high school athletes. I teach the Year 1 program, which focuses on developing leadership qualities, improving communication skills, teaching confidence and empathy and completing service projects that positively impact the Bay Area Ultimate community.
BAY AREA DISC ASSOCIATION
Manager of Communications
In my spare time, I work at the Bay Area's regional disc organization as the Director of Communications.

In addition to the daily communications needs of the organization (newsletters, social media, outreach), I also work closely with full-time staff on website development and long-term community engagement.
WORLD FLYING DISC FEDERATION
Direction of Global Media and Communications
WFDF is the international governing body for all flying disc sports. As the Director of Global Media and Communications from 2017-2024, I oversaw all official communications from the organization to our national federations, as well as the press and partners. I also manage the day-to-day social media presence on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

During WFDF world championship events, I was responsible for all social promotion, including highlight videos, photos, interviews and game streams.
